Twenty-Six RDOs and Community Partner members attended this Tuesday's first Rural Social Enterprise Webinar hosted by Mary Ferguson and Ryan Turnbull of Eko Nomos. The webinar was based on workshops offered through the Rural Social Enterprise Project, and focused on introducing participants to the language and broad concepts of Social Enterprise.
We'd like to thank all those who attended for their active participation, as well as their patience as we sorted out a new webinar technology.

RDO Program Orientation

The RDO Program Orientation was held last week in Guelph and was met with great enthusiasm and energy from all attendees.
The Orientation launches the RDO Learning Centre programming, and brings RDOs together for their first face-to-face contact with FRL staff and each other. RDOs took part in two days of workshops designed to enhance their skills and build access to community contacts and employment networks. Highlights from this year included Grace Gruber's True Color's presentation and Jennifer Girvan's workshop on Goal Setting For Your Life and Career.
We'd like to send out a big thank you to all those who helped make this year's Orientation possible, including the staff who organized it, the speakers who participated, and the RDOs who attended. Thanks!
