  • Link experts with those who most need support
  • Facilitate networking, mentoring, and peer-to-peer support
  • Develop resources and toolkits to support skill development within rural nonprofits
  • Address barriers of size and scale, isolation, distance and geography

Through workshops, conferences, and the Community Mentorship Program, FRL's Learning Centre provides RDOs with the tools they need to build their change-making capacity, as well as that of their partnering community organization.

FRL's Rural Social Enterprise Project is also a component of the Learning Centre, and contributes to the resilience and resource development capacity of rural non profits by building the specific knowledge, skills and supports needed for the development of social enterprise in a rural context.
