An independent selection committee made up of three practitioners in each of the category fields will review the nominations and make recommendations to the Foundation for Rural Living. The number of awards to be given will be determined by the Foundation for Rural Living or the appropriate selection committee. The decision of the Foundation, with the selection committee is final.

The Award recipients will be honoured with the presentation of a commemorative artistic glass award, as well as a cash contribution to their charity of choice at the 7th Annual Awards of Rural Excellence ceremonies on April 11, 2006 at Blue Mountain Resort in Collingwood, Ontario during The Ontario Rural Council’s annual rural development conference.

Submission of an entry form entitles the Foundation for Rural Living to disclose nominees’ names, project information and photos for promotion and marketing.
